I guess size is the hang up, but maybe the setting is staring me in the face. WhitPhil-Still have not had the time to work on Thumbnails. In fact Paint is even easier, since I do not have to fuss with getting the size of the box right. And now I know how to do what I want in MS Paint as well as Irfanview. ![]() Go to another MS Paint instance with another image. Then go to the MS Paint Window with the "canvas." Paste it there, position it. Then "Edit" | "Select All" then "Edit" | "Copy". In one of them you'll set up the "canvas" and in each of all the others you'll open up the files (one file in each MS Paint window.) Do your edits with an image. "So you'll open up serveral MS Paint instances. ![]() But that ancient thread (my gosh, over a year ago) shows that someone (Falcon2000, whoever that is) said The only problem is drawing the "boxes" to the correct size, but maybe with time I will become more expert.įalcitor/Calpitron2000-See, I told you my memory is not so good. Only after doing that was I given the chance (from a right hand panel that then opened in the Thumbnail window) to choose the several images from Desktop I wanted.Īt this point DuaneB and smurf's instructions allow me to put full size images onto one page where I want them. (The images are in Desktop, but clicking on "desktop" in the Thumbnail drop down window did nothing.) I had to first put one of the images from Desktop into the IV window which remained open on the screen. Also they are aligned across the top of the page-not that that is bad, but I had no choice in location on the page.Īnd after opening the thumbnail window, I was given no obvious way to chose images to put into the Irfanview Window. Yes, it works when I tried it really quickly, but the images are indeed thumbnails, fairly small with file names underneath (of course I could cut the names off after I printed). I am going to have play with it this weekend. WhitPhil-Many thanks for your suggestion.
